VISITING THE OFFICE DURING COVID-19
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT
The following policy will be in place until COVID-19 is no longer a threat to the community.
Before your appointment…
We will call you to discuss the reason for your visit and collect all necessary information. Let us know of any concerns regarding orthodontic treatments, so we can make you comfortable and excited about your goals of a beautiful & healthy smile!
New Patients - Complete the new patient form
Email the completed form to assist@drwall.net before your appointment
Bring the completed form to your appointment
When you arrive…
Call from your vehicle to notify us of your arrival & complete your phone questionnaire
You will be asked to cancel/reschedule your appointment…
If you or a household member have any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell).
If you have been exposed to someone with known COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
If you or any household member has had recent travel to a COVID-19 hotspot.
Wait in your vehicle until we let you know we are ready for you.
Entering the office…
Adult Patients: Patient only. If the patient needs assistance with translation or help understanding the procedures being rendered, then one person is permitted.
Minor Patients: One adult (parent or guardian) may accompany a child for their visit, and will sit alongside their child during the treatment. No siblings unless they have appointments, please.
Mask/face covering required for all persons entering the office
Temperature check for each person entering the office.
Wash hands (20 seconds)
Exiting the office…
Check that no wires or irritations are present before exiting the treatment area.
Ask any questions before leaving the treatment area.
Wash your hands (20 seconds) before exiting the office.
Call Susan to discuss treatments performed and schedule the next appointment.
What other office changes have been made for COVID-19 safety?
Reduced daily patient volume to reduce the amount of people in our office and cross-contact potential
All surfaces, instruments, and equipment thoroughly disinfected after every patient encounter
Office reconfigured to maximize social distancing
Custom exhaust portal installed to create 10-12 air changes per hour
Multiple air purifiers throughout the office
Plexiglass sneeze guard installed at the front desk
All chairs reupholstered to vinyl material for cleaning purposes
Tele-Orthodontic Appointments Available: Any questions or concerns that can be addressed from the comfort and safety of your own home are encouraged. There will be no additional charges for any discussions with Dr. Wall or any of the Administrative Staff. Questions can be addressed via phone, text, FaceTime, etc.--contact our office to set up.
